Scott Frisoni is a dynamic, results-oriented, no-nonsense business leader with a unique ability to create a sustainable longterm plan. He executes tactics flawlessly, motivates every individual on his team, and rolls up his sleeves to drive results. Scott’s entrepreneurial track record is unparalleled: he was a key player in five successful startup companies, leading four to IPOs and one to a sale of the business. He has functioned in multiple capacities for these startups, including sales executive, operations executive, technologist and M&A.
Scott started his professional career in sales for Procter & Gamble where he received multiple performance awards. Scott built his expert technological skills at Magnitude Network, a provider of internet solutions for radio stations. He was the leader of sales and operations until the company was sold to CMGi. At PurchasePro, an eProcurement/Reverse Auction Software company, Scott held several positions and was a part of the leadership team that took the company public in late 1999. In early 2001, Scott and his team started InnerWorkings, an outsourced print management company. He drove the results as the leader of sales and operations and led the company to a very successful IPO in 2006. At Echo Global Logistics, an outsourced transportation management company, he was responsible for sales and M&A and led his team to another successful IPO at the end of 2009. Scott was one of the first investors at Groupon and advised them on a daily basis for a number of years.
Currently Scott is spending his time on his own venture capital firm, Kairos Company. Kairos makes investments into companies and assists them on a regular basis. He leverages his vast experience, contacts and track record to allow companies to flourish.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Scott held various leadership positions and won multiple awards during college. Scott resides in Chicagoland with his wife and their two sons.
