About
Michelle is a Vice President at OCA Ventures, where she focuses on healthcare and life science investments. Michelle is particularly passionate about incentive-aligned care models to engage underserved populations, "picks and shovels" software solutions to modernize provider/payer/pharma workflows, and healthcare workforce development to address labor shortages. She enjoys working with (and learning from!) passionate and resilient founders seeking to tackle big, messy healthcare challenges.
Prior to OCA, Michelle was a management consultant at Deloitte serving healthcare and pharma clients on projects at the intersection of growth strategy and technology. She led client engagements focused on cost of care analytics, revenue cycle management, and sales force effectiveness. She also worked in product marketing at Verily Life Sciences focused on optimizing customer segmentation and paid media strategies.
Michelle earned her MBA from Chicago Booth, where she pursued concentrations in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Accounting and was involved with the Polsky Center as an Innovation Fund Associate. She earned her BA from Northwestern University, where she majored in Economics and minored in Computer Science and Business Institutions.
She enjoys rock climbing, pickleball, and teaching new tricks to her mini golden doodle.
