Dave Zyer is a Venture Partner with OCA Ventures.
Prior to OCA, Dave was a Managing Director with UBS Investment Bank, where he led the UBS Prediction proprietary trading business focused on deploying highly sophisticated quantitative models and a fully automated trade execution infrastructure in U.S. and foreign equity markets. He led the acquisition and integration of Prediction Company for UBS. Prior to the UBS – Swiss Bank Corporation merger, Dave was a Managing Director of SBC, in a dual role as Regional Head of Human Resources for the Americas and Global Head of HR for the Capital Markets group.
Dave received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Finance (summa cum laude) from DePaul University.
Dave’s non-profit board service includes: WTTW-WFMT (Chicago’s PBS broadcast TV and classical music stations), Harmony Community Cares, and Operation Walk Chicago.
