Marc Berman is a Special Advisor to OCA Ventures. Marc has board responsibilities for Techskills, Cohesive FT.

Marc has been a partner at the O’Connor Partners Investment Office (OPIO) for more than 15 years. During that time, he also served as a Managing Director of and consultant to Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) and its affiliates (now UBS).  Previously, served as General Counsel to SBC for the Investment Bank in the Americas.

Before the acquisition of O’Connor & Associates by SBC, Marc was a partner and the General Counsel of O’Connor & Associates. 

Prior positions include the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and a Branch Chief of the Division of Market Regulation at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C., responsible for the financial regulation of broker-dealers, securities clearing corporations and depositories.

Marc holds a BA in Accounting from Baruch College and a JD from Brooklyn Law School. In addition, he serves on the Boards of the Joffrey Ballet and the Jewish Federation of Chicago.
